Adarsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ALBBS) is a microfinance institution licensed as a bagmati provience level "D" class financial institution from Nepal Rastra Bank, the central bank of Nepal, established on 23th may 2018 as Public Limited Company under company act of Nepal and licensed from the central bank of Nepal on 11th november 2018, it's head office is located at Banepa-7, Kavrepalanchok.

The authorized capital of ALBBS is Rs. 4 crore, issued capital is 2 crore and paid-up capital is Rs. 1 crore 40 lakhs. It has been providing both financial and non financial services to it's members. The financial products include various loan products and saving products. Similarly, the non financial services comprises of education on financial literacy , technical support to the enterpreneurs. It works mainly through solidarity group approach. The institution is governed by five Board Of Directors and the overall operations is lead by highly qualified professional team.

The agrarain nature of the Nepalese economy and the dependence of a majority of a people on agriculture(around 80 percent), with the majority (86 percent) living in rural areas, place the rural and agricultural sector in the forefront for economic upliftment of the Nepalese people. The role of ALBBS in microfinance is crucial in reaching out the poor and deprived people through sustinable microfinance services.

Only a sustinable and viable ALBBS can efficently discharge its responsibility to attain the objective of poverty reduction through income generating and self-employment promotion activities. This will bring positive impact on socio economic status of the rural poor people including women and socially disadvantaged communities. Moreover, the proposed ALBBS will fulfill the gap between demand and supply of micro credit in a sustinable basis.
