Nepal Finance Limited Announces Multiple Banking Career Opportunities

Nepal Finance Limited has announced new career opportunities for qualified and experienced Nepalese citizens as part of its efforts to strengthen its workforce. The vacancies are open for positions ranging from department heads and branch managers to IT and entry-level banking roles.

The financial institution is seeking candidates who are competent, energetic, self-motivated and result-oriented.

Available Positions

1. Department Head – 3 Positions

Vacancies are available in Information Technology (IT), Internal Audit and Credit Risk departments.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years as of the application deadline.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Management or Economics from a recognized university with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a lead role within an NRB-licensed bank or financial institution.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Management or Economics with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a lead role within an NRB-licensed BFI.

Selection Process: Interview
Job Location: Inside Kathmandu Valley

Candidates should have strong knowledge of banking operations, regulatory compliance, NRB directives, relevant banking laws and policies, and departmental functions. Strong leadership, supervision, communication, analytical, reporting and interpersonal skills are also required.

2. Branch Manager – 3 Positions

Nepal Finance Limited is also seeking candidates for the position of Branch Manager.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years as of the application deadline.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Management or Economics with at least 3 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 1 year as a Branch Manager or Branch In-charge in an NRB-licensed BFI.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Management or Economics with at least 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a Branch Manager or Branch In-charge role.

Selection Process: Interview
Job Location: Inside Kathmandu Valley and outside the Valley, including Madhesh, Gandaki and Bagmati provinces.

Applicants should be familiar with banking operations, regulatory requirements, NRB directives and relevant banking laws. Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, analytical and interpersonal skills are required.

3. IT Assistant (Assistant/Senior Assistant/Supervisor) – 1 Position

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years as of the application deadline.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT from a recognized university.
  • At least 3 years of experience in hardware and networking functions within an NRB-licensed BFI.

Selection Process: Interview
Job Location: Inside Kathmandu Valley

Candidates with a valid driving license will have an added advantage. Applicants should be able to work under pressure and have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

4. Junior Assistant/Junior Assistant Trainee – Few Positions

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years as of the application deadline.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management or Economics from a recognized university.

Selection Process: Interview or written examination followed by an interview
Job Location: Inside and outside Kathmandu Valley

Candidates should have good business communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure and basic computer proficiency, including knowledge of office applications. A driving license will be an added advantage.
