Kathmandu: Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB), Nepal's government-owned commercial bank licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank as a Class "A" financial institution, has announced a large-scale recruitment drive to fill permanent vacancies through open competition.
According to a notice published on July 3, 2026 (Asar 19, 2083), eligible Nepali citizens are invited to submit online applications for various officer and assistant-level positions. The recruitment will be conducted in accordance with the approval of the Public Service Commission (PSC).
The bank is seeking applications for the following permanent positions:
Applicants must possess the minimum academic qualifications specified for each position.
Officer-level positions generally require a master's degree in relevant disciplines such as Management, Commerce, Public Administration, Economics, Finance, Law, Information Technology, Agriculture, Engineering, or Chartered Accountancy. Several senior-level posts also require prior experience in banking or financial institutions.
For senior assistant-level positions, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in the relevant field.
Candidates who obtained their academic qualifications from foreign institutions must submit an equivalency certificate issued by Tribhuvan University.

Applications that are incomplete, fail to meet the minimum qualifications, or do not include the required examination fee will not be considered.
The examination fee must be paid through RBB Mobile Banking or other available online payment channels. Cash payments will not be accepted.

Women and persons with disabilities may apply up to 40 years of age. However, the age limit does not apply to permanent employees currently serving in the bank.
The recruitment process will vary by position:
Successful candidates will be appointed under the provisions of the bank's Employee Service Regulations. The probation period will be six months for female employees and one year for male employees.
Online applications have been open since July 3, 2026 (Asar 19, 2083). Eligible candidates must submit their applications no later than Shrawan 7, 2083, through the bank's online recruitment system.
Rastriya Banijya Bank has advised applicants to provide accurate information, noting that false or misleading details may result in disqualification. Individuals dismissed from government service, blacklisted loan defaulters, candidates convicted of crimes involving moral turpitude, or those otherwise disqualified under Nepal Rastra Bank regulations are not eligible to apply.
