Kathmandu — Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited (SALICO) has announced a career opportunity for the position of Officer to Assistant Manager in its Agriculture Department.
According to the company, the vacancy is based at its Corporate Office in Naxal, Kathmandu, and one qualified candidate will be selected for the role. The company is seeking applicants with a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related discipline along with five to eight years of experience in the general insurance sector, particularly in agricultural insurance.
The selected employee will be involved in agriculture insurance operations including proposal evaluation, field inspections, claim assessment reporting, coordination with farmers and cooperatives, and communication with government authorities related to subsidy procedures.
SALICO stated that the role also includes conducting awareness and training activities, maintaining departmental documentation, and supporting the development and promotion of agricultural insurance services.
The company has emphasized communication, reporting, leadership, and stakeholder management skills as important requirements for the position.
