SALICO Announces Career Opportunities in Marketing Department

Kathmandu: Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited (SALICO) has published a vacancy notice inviting applications from qualified Nepali candidates for multiple positions in its Marketing Department. The announcement targets both experienced professionals and emerging talents seeking to build a career in the insurance sector.

According to the notice, the company is hiring for the positions of Assistant Manager, Senior Officer/Officer/Junior Officer, and Senior Assistant/Assistant/Junior Assistant. A limited number of vacancies are available for each role.

For the Assistant Manager position, candidates must hold at least a bachelor’s degree—preferably a master’s—in Banking and Insurance, Marketing, Economics, or Management. Applicants are also required to have a minimum of 6–8 years of experience in the general insurance industry. This role is based within the Kathmandu Valley.

Similarly, candidates applying for Officer-level roles must possess a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields along with at least five years of experience in the insurance sector. These positions are open across all branches, both inside and outside the Kathmandu Valley.

For Assistant-level roles, applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2–4 years of experience in general insurance. The company has also encouraged candidates with corporate sales and marketing experience in other industries to apply.

SALICO stated that remuneration and additional benefits will be provided as per company rules.

Interested and eligible candidates are required to submit their applications, updated resumes, citizenship copies, and other necessary documents through the company’s official website within 15 days from the publication date, i.e., by 17th April 2026 (4th Baishakh 2083).

The company has clarified that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further selection processes, and reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning reasons.
