Kathmandu – Jyoti Bikash Bank Limited (JBBL) has announced a career opportunity notice, inviting applications from qualified and competent Nepali citizens for several positions at different levels across its branches.
According to the bank, vacancies are open for Branch Managers (up to Senior Officer level), Relationship Managers (up to Junior Officer level), Chartered Accountants, and Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountants. These positions are available for both inside and outside the Kathmandu Valley.
For managerial roles, candidates must hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, or a related field from a recognized university. Applicants are also required to have relevant work experience in banking and financial institutions licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), along with sound knowledge of credit appraisal procedures and NRB directives.
The bank has specified that candidates applying for officer-level positions should not exceed 40 years of age, while age limits for supervisor and assistant levels range up to 30 years.
For the Chartered Accountant position, applicants must be qualified CA professionals capable of handling internal control, financial management, and regulatory compliance, including tax and company laws. Similarly, Semi-Qualified CA candidates (ACCA or CA Intermediate with articleship completed) are encouraged to apply, particularly those with experience in auditing and accounting compliance.
Jyoti Bikash Bank stated that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further selection processes. The final position and compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
