Jyoti Bikash Bank Limited has published a vacancy notice inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Chief Credit Officer (Deputy General Manager). The position is at the executive leadership level, and one candidate will be selected.
According to the notice, the Chief Credit Officer will be responsible for leading the bank’s overall credit business across all clusters and branches. The role includes ensuring strong risk governance, maintaining portfolio quality, and ensuring compliance with prevailing regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities also involve developing and implementing comprehensive credit policies, overseeing credit risk assessment and underwriting standards, and monitoring credit portfolios to manage asset quality and concentration risks effectively.
Applicants are required to have at least 15 years of banking experience, including a minimum of 5 years at the corporate credit level, with strong expertise in credit underwriting and settlement. Candidates must also have completed at least two years of continuous service in up to one position below at a national-level development bank or up to two positions below at an ‘A’ class commercial bank. In terms of academic qualifications, applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Management, Economics, or a related field with at least second-division marks, or be a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor’s degree.
