The primary responsibilities of the position include creating deal flows and strategies for potential investment projects and identifying new channels for outreach and engagement, such as social media, events, and conferences. The candidate will also be responsible for conducting due diligence for investments, preparing investment exit plans, and supporting the CIO in formulating short and long-term goals for the fund. Furthermore, they will be involved in establishing investment strategies, supervising fund management, and providing timely project performance reports to internal stakeholders and investors.
Applicants are required to have a Master's Degree in Management, Commerce, or Economics from a recognized university, or they should hold a professional certification such as Chartered Accountant, Chartered Certified Accountant, or Chartered Financial Analyst. A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience at a similar level is also necessary. Additionally, candidates must possess a thorough understanding of Specialized Investment Fund setup and operations, Nepalese Capital Markets Products and Services, Banking Procedures, and knowledge of prevailing Corporate Laws.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership skills, analytical abilities, proficiency in financial modeling and analysis of financial statements, risk management expertise, equity research analysis, and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
