Kathmandu: Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited (HEI), one of Nepal's leading non-life insurance companies, has invited applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO).
According to the vacancy announcement, the company is looking for a visionary and results-oriented leader to assist the Chief Executive Officer in driving strategic growth, improving operational performance, strengthening innovation, and creating long-term value for shareholders, customers, employees, and other stakeholders.
The selected Deputy CEO will be responsible for supporting the CEO in implementing the company's strategic and business plans. The role also includes leading business growth initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening underwriting and claims management, improving risk management and regulatory compliance, and promoting customer service excellence.
The position will also oversee digital transformation, process improvements, innovation initiatives, corporate governance, stakeholder engagement, and the achievement of the company's financial and operational goals.
Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Insurance, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Candidates should have at least 15 years of professional experience, including a minimum of five years in a senior management or leadership position within the insurance, banking, or financial services sector.
The company is seeking professionals with strong knowledge of insurance operations, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and strategic management. Candidates should also demonstrate proven leadership, business development, organizational transformation, and decision-making abilities, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
