Asian Life Insurance Announces Vacancy for HR Officer and Legal Officer

Asian Life Insurance Company Limited has opened applications for two officer-level positions at its head office in Maitidevi, Kathmandu. The company has invited qualified and dynamic Nepali citizens to apply for the posts of Human Resource Officer and Legal Officer.

According to the vacancy notice, the Human Resource Officer will be responsible for assisting in recruitment and selection processes, maintaining employee records, supporting onboarding and training activities, and handling basic HR administrative tasks. The candidate will also support performance management activities and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

For the HR Officer position, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in a related HR role along with good communication skills, knowledge of HR practices and labor laws, and proficiency in MS Office applications. The age limit for applicants is 35 years.

Similarly, the company is also seeking a Legal Officer for its head office. The selected candidate will provide legal advice on corporate, regulatory, and operational matters, handle legal disputes and litigation, and coordinate with regulatory authorities and stakeholders. The officer will also support management in risk assessment and legal compliance activities.

Applicants for the Legal Officer position must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB), while preference will be given to candidates with an LLM degree. The company requires candidates to have two to five years of relevant work experience, preferably in the insurance, banking, or corporate sector. Strong knowledge of Nepali laws, including Labour Law, Company Act, Insurance Act, and regulatory frameworks, has also been emphasized.
