Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited has announced a vacancy for the position of Economic & Policy Analyst, inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals. The selected candidate will serve as the Bank’s in-house economist and play a key role in monitoring macroeconomic and policy developments that impact the Bank and its subsidiaries.

According to the notice, the Economic & Policy Analyst will be responsible for providing economic insights to support strategic decision-making and strengthening the Bank’s internal economic analysis. The role also focuses on enhancing the understanding of domestic and international regulatory and policy developments that influence business strategy and long-term direction.

The key responsibilities include collaborating with Treasury, Risk, and Business teams; tracking and interpreting macroeconomic, regulatory, and policy trends; analyzing their impact on business strategy, operations, and balance sheet management; and preparing economic insights for strategic planning and decision-making. The analyst will also support internal tools and external communications by providing relevant economic context.

Applicants are required to have a Master’s degree in Economics or a related discipline, along with a minimum of three years’ experience in economic research or policy advisory roles. Strong knowledge of Nepal’s macroeconomic and financial landscape, the ability to convert complex analysis into actionable business insights, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
