Garima Bikas Bank Opens Vacancies for different position

Kathmandu, Nov 4: Garima Bikas Bank Ltd., one of Nepal’s leading national-level development banks, has announced new job openings to strengthen its IT and technology division. The bank is inviting applications from qualified, result-oriented, and self-motivated Nepali citizens for several positions at its head office.

The announced vacancies include:

• Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Managerial Level

• Software Developer – Up to Officer Level

• Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) Officer – Up to Officer Level

According to the notice, applicants for the CTO position must hold a Master’s Degree in IT or a related field and have at least seven years of work experience in commercial or development banks, with a minimum of three years in a managerial position. Strong expertise in networking systems, cybersecurity, and core banking technologies is essential.

For the Software Developer role, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering and at least four years of development experience. The position requires proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.

Similarly, applicants for the AI/ML Officer post should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or Data Science, with at least four years of relevant experience. Knowledge of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn, as well as expertise in AI applications such as Natural Language Processing or Computer Vision, is required.

The bank has emphasized strong communication, presentation, and networking skills as mandatory for all applicants. The maximum age limit is 40 years, with an additional five years of relaxation for female candidates.
