Kathmandu: NMB Bank Limited, recognized as the Bank of the Year – Asia 2021, has announced new career opportunities for skilled professionals to join its dynamic team. The bank is seeking qualified candidates for multiple positions in its Information Technology and Digital Transformation departments.
According to the notice, the openings include Manager–IT Operations (Deputy Manager/Manager level), AI & ML Engineer (Junior Officer/Officer/Senior Officer level), and Cybersecurity Engineer (Junior Officer/Officer/Senior Officer level).
The IT Manager will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the bank’s IT infrastructure and systems, ensuring data security, compliance, and technological advancement. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (Master’s preferred) and have 7–10 years of relevant experience.
The AI & ML Engineer position focuses on developing and deploying artificial intelligence and machine learning-based banking solutions such as fraud detection, customer behavior analysis, and personalized banking services. Candidates must possess strong technical expertise in AI, Python, SQL, and related fields, with 4–7 years of experience.
Similarly, the Cybersecurity Engineer role involves designing and managing security infrastructures, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with global cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, etc.). A bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field and 4–7 years of experience in cybersecurity are required.
The bank has specified that applicants should be between 21 and 40 years of age for officer-level positions and up to 50 years for managerial posts.
