Announces Exciting Career Opportunities at Nepal SBI Merchant Banking

Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Ltd. (NSMBL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nepal SBI Bank and a prominent investment banking institution with foreign collaboration from SBI Capital Markets Limited (India), is seeking applications from dynamic, energetic, and self-motivated leaders for multiple key positions.

Available Positions:

1. Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Manager Level (1 Position)

   • Education: Master’s Degree in Management, Finance, Economics, or related field, or a CA degree.

   • Experience: Over 5 years in Capital Market, Investment Banking, or Banking. Preference for candidates with experience in merchant banking/securities business.

   • Age: Not exceeding 40 years as of the application deadline.

   • Key Responsibilities: Lead overall management and administration of merchant banking operations, strategic planning, departmental oversight, and ensure strong analytical and communication skills.

2. Head Investment Banking – Officer Level (1 Position)

   • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

   • Experience: More than 2 years in Capital Market, Investment Banking, or Banking.

   • Age: Not exceeding 35 years.

   • Key Responsibilities: Lead the investment banking team, analyze investment opportunities and market trends, and drive innovation in investment products and services.

3. Research Unit – Assistant Level (1 Position)

   • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Finance, Economics, Accounts, or a related field.

   • Experience: More than 1 year in Finance, Account, or Audit-related fields.

   • Age: Not exceeding 30 years.

   • Key Responsibilities: Conduct financial and market research, product development, and policy analysis, demonstrating strong financial knowledge and reporting skills.

4. Trainee Assistant (2 Positions)

   • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field.

   • Age: Not exceeding 30 years.

   • Key Responsibilities: Support various operational and research activities within the organization.
