As a Teller, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of banking transactions while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and a customer-friendly approach.
Process customer transactions including:
Cash deposits and withdrawals
Demand drafts and pay orders
Internal account transfers
Stop payment instructions
Clearing cheques
Provide prompt service to customers and recommend workflow improvements for better efficiency.
Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulations, and anti-money laundering guidelines.
Maintain control over cash functions and security stationery.
Review processing entries and vouchers for accuracy.
Promote digital banking channels and educate customers on their benefits.
Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer potential customers to sales teams.
Adhere to the bank’s Mis-selling & Sales Policies at all times.
Ensure workplace safety by following health and safety guidelines.
Education: Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
Languages: Fluent in English and Nepali.
Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
Knowledge of banking operations, compliance, and financial regulations.
