Job Summary:

As a Teller, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of banking transactions while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and a customer-friendly approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions including:

  • Cash deposits and withdrawals

  • Demand drafts and pay orders

  • Internal account transfers

  • Stop payment instructions

  • Clearing cheques

• Provide prompt service to customers and recommend workflow improvements for better efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulations, and anti-money laundering guidelines.

• Maintain control over cash functions and security stationery.

• Review processing entries and vouchers for accuracy.

• Promote digital banking channels and educate customers on their benefits.

• Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer potential customers to sales teams.

• Adhere to the bank’s Mis-selling & Sales Policies at all times.

• Ensure workplace safety by following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.

• Languages: Fluent in English and Nepali.

• Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills.

• Knowledge of banking operations, compliance, and financial regulations.
