Role: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
As the CTO of NMB Bank, you will play a crucial role in shaping the bank's technological landscape. Your responsibilities will encompass developing and executing a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the bank's overall vision and objectives. Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the bank's overall business vision, mission, and objectives.
- Identify emerging technologies and trends to enhance the bank's competitive advantage in the market.
- Collaborate with senior management to prioritize technology initiatives that align with business goals and growth plans.

- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the bank's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and cloud services.
- Ensure the bank's IT systems are reliable, scalable, and secure, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to prevent and resolve any potential issues.

Information Security and Risk Management:
- Develop and implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard the bank's data, customer information, and digital assets.
- Establish and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and practices to mitigate potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with the Risk Management team to identify and mitigate technology-related risks.

Digital Banking and Innovation:
- Lead the development and deployment of digital banking solutions to enhance customer experience and attract new clients.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the technology team by encouraging the exploration of new ideas and technologies that can drive the bank forward.

- Oversee the software development life cycle, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of applications and systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships and partnerships to ensure quality service and value for technology investments.

Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide effective leadership to the technology team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Mentor and develop team members, encouraging continuous learning and skill enhancement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate career growth for technology professionals.

Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date with relevant industry regulations, laws, and compliance standards applicable to the banking sector.
- Ensure that all technology initiatives and operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Candidates with additional MBA degrees will be preferred.
- Proven experience (minimum of 15 years) in technology leadership roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in formulating technology strategies, infrastructure management, and software development.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and risk management.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in driving digital transformation and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
- Familiarity with relevant banking regulations and compliance standards.
