Prime Commercial Bank Ltd. Announces Job Openings for Nepalese Citizens
Prime Commercial Bank Ltd., an 'A' class financial institution in Nepal, is offering exciting opportunities for Nepalese citizens to grow professionally and managerially. The bank is seeking applications for various positions from suitably qualified, dynamic, and result-oriented individuals with strong interpersonal skills and pleasant personalities.
The available positions are:
- Business Development (Various Corporate Levels) - 5 positions Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of experience for Manager Level and 4 years of experience for Officer Level in business development with a focus on institutional or public deposit marketing in financial institutions. Candidates must have a minimum Bachelor's Degree in business related field from a recognized university.
- Branch Manager (Various Corporate Levels - Majorly for Outside Kathmandu Valley Branches and few for Inside Kathmandu Valley Branches) - 15 positions Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of experience for Manager Level, 4 years of experience for Officer Level, and 3 years of experience for below Officer Level in financial institutions with a focus on Credit, Business Development, Trade Finance, and Branch Management. Candidates with previous work experience as Branch Manager/Assistant Branch Manager in financial institutions inside or outside Kathmandu Valley will be preferred.
- Environment and Social Risk Management (ESRM) Officer - 1 position Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in Environmental and Social Risk management with a focus on integrating E&S considerations into Bank's financing activities. Candidates must have a minimum Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering/Environmental Management or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- Legal Officer (Officer Level) - 1 position Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as a practitioner lawyer holding an advocate license. Preference will be given to candidates with progressive work experience either in financial institutions or in a reputed law firm with a focus on banking and company/corporate law.
- Chartered Accountant - 5 positions Candidates must have completed CA with sound knowledge of Central Bank Directives, BAFIA, Company Act 2063, Income Tax Act 2058, NAS/IAS/NFRS, AML Guidelines, and other relevant banking rules and regulations.
- Relationship Manager/Officer (Senior Assistant to Officer Level - Majorly for Outside Kathmandu Valley Branches and few for Inside Kathmandu Valley Branches) - 15 positions Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of experience for Officer Level and 3 years of experience for Senior Assistant or below Officer Level in financial institutions with a focus on credit functions.
- Gold Loan Supervisor/Assistant - Contract (for Inside and Outside Kathmandu Valley Branches) - 3 positions Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Gold Tester/Gold Loan In-charge, preferably in a financial institution with experience in Gold Loan Marketing, Operations, and Inspection/Monitoring of Gold Loan.
- Management Trainee - 8 positions Candidates must have a Master's degree in business related field from a recognized university securing at least 60% marks or 3.25 CGPA out of 4 with fluency in Nepali and English (oral and written).
- Digital Banking- Software Developer (Various Corporate Levels - few positions) Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience as a Software Development, preferably in financial institutions with experience in databases such as MySQL, MS SQL, having knowledge of Web API/Web Services, MVC, JSON/XML, SOAP/REST Technology, and OOP Concept.
- LEGAL ASSISTANT - 1 number
Required Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Law from recognized university holding advocate license with fluency in Nepali and English (oral and written). Age of the applicant should not have crossed 28 years as on April 20, 2023.
- TRAINEE ASSISTANT
(a number of positions for Inside and Outside Kathmandu Valley Branches)
Required Qualification: Bachelor's degree in business related field from recognized university securing at least 50% marks or 2.5 CGPA out of 4 with fluency in Nepali and English (oral and written). Age of the applicant should not have crossed 28 years as on April 20, 2023. As Bank has requirement for above mentioned positions at various locations, candidates must indicate their preferred Province and Branch location while applying for the position as mentioned in vacancy. Candidates meeting mentioned eligibility criteria / obtaining minimum required marks in written examination for selected position conducted by the Bank shall be shortlisted for further selection procedure also on the basis of location as per requirement of the Bank. Applicants having Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications is preferred.
