Kumari Bank Limited has issued a 35-day public notice directing specified borrowers to repay their outstanding loans, including principal and interest, warning that failure to settle the dues may lead to collateral auctions and blacklisting.
The notice was published in the Nagarik Daily on October 12, 2026 (Ashoj 26, 2083).
According to the bank, the concerned borrowers have failed to repay their loan obligations despite repeated verbal and written reminders. The bank has therefore called on them to contact the respective branch offices and settle all outstanding amounts within 35 days from the date of publication of the notice.
The bank warned that if the borrowers fail to repay their dues within the stipulated period, it may auction or otherwise dispose of the movable and immovable assets pledged as collateral to recover the outstanding amounts. The recovery process will be carried out in accordance with prevailing laws, Nepal Rastra Bank directives and the bank’s loan recovery procedures.
Kumari Bank further stated that it may recommend listing the names of the borrowers and other concerned parties on the Credit Information Centre’s blacklist if they fail to meet their repayment obligations.
The bank also clarified that if the proceeds from the sale of the pledged collateral are insufficient to recover the full outstanding amount, it may seek recovery of the remaining dues from the other movable and immovable assets of the borrowers, company directors and guarantors, as permitted under the Bank and Financial Institution Act, 2017, the loan agreements and other applicable laws.
The notice urges all concerned borrowers and guarantors to contact the bank and settle their outstanding liabilities within the specified deadline to avoid further legal and recovery proceedings.
