Global IME Bank Limited has announced the closure of five branchless banking service centers operating in different parts of Nepal. According to the notice issued by the bank, the decision was made by the bank’s operating committee, with approval from Nepal Rastra Bank.
The branchless banking service centers scheduled to close include Boda in Thosaran Municipality-5, Gandaki Province; Banchhiya in Kushma Municipality-2, Gandaki Province; Kherapur in Tulsipur Municipality-2, Lumbini Province; Gangadi in Rajapur Rural Municipality-6, Lumbini Province; and Salena in Melauli Municipality-2, Sudurpashchim Province.
Following the closure, customers who have been using these branchless banking services are requested to conduct their regular banking transactions through the respective nearby branches mentioned in the bank’s notice. The designated branches include Burtibang, Kushma, Tulsipur, Lamahi and Baitadi. The bank has urged customers to contact the relevant branches for further information and to ensure that their banking services continue without inconvenience.
Global IME Bank has published the notice to inform customers and stakeholders about the changes and has requested affected customers to cooperate with the new arrangements.
