Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited (NIMB) has announced the auction of movable and immovable properties pledged as collateral by borrowers who have failed to repay their outstanding loans.
According to the seven-day auction notice published on Ashoj 21, 2083, the bank said repeated verbal and written requests, as well as previous public notices, failed to prompt the concerned borrowers and guarantors to settle their outstanding dues.
The bank has urged the concerned borrowers to clear the entire outstanding principal, interest, penalties and other applicable charges within seven days from the date of publication of the notice.
If the outstanding loans are not settled within the stipulated period, the concerned borrowers may be included in the Credit Information Centre's blacklist in accordance with the applicable directives issued to banks and financial institutions licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank.
The bank said the mortgaged properties listed in the notice will be auctioned through sealed bids in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations. Interested buyers have been invited to participate in the auction process.
The deadline for submitting sealed bids is October 13, 2026 (Ashoj 27, 2083). The submitted bids will be opened on October 14, 2026 (Ashoj 28, 2083) at 3:00 PM.
The bank has also stated that if the properties are not sold through the auction, it may proceed with alternative arrangements for their sale or acquire the properties itself in accordance with prevailing laws. If the proceeds from the properties are insufficient to recover the bank's total outstanding dues, further recovery action may be initiated as permitted by law.
