Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has invited online applications from eligible Nepali citizens for various contractual positions under its Human Resources Management Department.
According to the vacancy notice, candidates must not have crossed the age of 45 years as of the last date for submitting applications. The vacancies are being announced under advertisement numbers 101/2083 to 106/2083.
Among the positions listed in the notice are Security Guard, Constable, Light Vehicle Driver and Bus Driver. The notice specifies one vacancy for Security Guard, four for Constable, seven for Light Vehicle Driver and three for Bus Driver under the respective advertisements.
For advertisement numbers 101/2083, 102/2083, 103/2083 and 104/2083, candidates will generally be selected through a written examination, practical examination and interview. However, if the number of approved applications is 20 or fewer, only the practical examination and interview will be conducted.
For advertisement numbers 105/2083 and 106/2083, selection will be made through a written examination and interview. If 20 or fewer applications are approved, only the interview will be conducted.
The examination schedule and list of approved candidates will be published later on the bank's website. All examinations, including written, practical and interview sessions, will be conducted in Kathmandu.
The contractual appointment will initially be for six months. Remuneration and other facilities will be provided according to the terms specified in the contract and the bank's rules. Selected candidates may be assigned to the central office or provincial offices of Nepal Rastra Bank, depending on the bank's requirements.
Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the Online Portal for Contract Application available under the Career section of the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
The application fee is Rs 800. The fee can be paid through the payment service providers available on the online application portal. The examination fee will not be refunded if an application is rejected for failing to meet the required criteria.
The deadline for submitting applications is September 8, 2026 (Bhadra 23, 2083).
Applicants are required to upload a recently taken photograph while submitting the online application. The vacancy notice and syllabus for the respective positions are available under the Career > Notices section of the bank's website.
