The resignations of the Chairperson and a board director of the bank have been formally accepted, according to an official notice issued by the institution.
The bank stated that independent director Prof. Dr. Dilliram Sharma, who had been serving as the Chairperson of the Board, submitted his resignation from both the position of Chairperson and Independent Director effective from Baisakh 24, 2083 BS. The resignation was approved by the Board of Directors meeting held on Jestha 1, 2083 BS.
Similarly, the bank informed that director Maya Acharya, who had been representing the Ministry of Finance on the Board of Directors, has also resigned from her position. According to the notice, the Ministry of Finance’s Financial Sector Management and Institution Coordination Division has informed the bank that her resignation has been accepted.
The bank has requested stakeholders to take note of the developments regarding the board-level changes.
