Matribhumi Laghubitta Announces Multiple Job Openings Across Provinces

Kathmandu: Matribhumi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd., a national-level microfinance institution licensed as a “D” class financial institution by Nepal Rastra Bank, has announced vacancies for various positions. The institution is seeking applications from qualified and motivated Nepali citizens who are willing to work in rural areas.

According to the published notice, the vacancies include Assistant Officer, Senior Assistant (Branch Manager), Senior Assistant (IT Department), Junior Assistant, Enterprise Development Facilitator (Senior/Junior Assistant), and Assistant Trainee. The number of required employees for each position is a few.

For the Assistant Officer position, candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution and possess at least two years of experience in banks, financial institutions, or microfinance institutions. Preference will be given to candidates with a motorcycle license and computer skills.

Applicants for the Senior Assistant (Branch Manager) post must have completed at least a Proficiency Certificate Level (10+2) or equivalent and have a minimum of three years of relevant work experience. Similarly, for the IT position, candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent in Information Technology and possess knowledge of office packages, internet, networking, hardware, and software.

For the Junior Assistant and Assistant Trainee positions, candidates must have passed at least SEE or equivalent. For the Enterprise Development Facilitator role, candidates must have completed I.Sc. Ag. or Veterinary studies and be capable of providing agricultural and livestock-related training and services.

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age (with an additional five-year age relaxation for female candidates). Required documents include a passport-sized photograph, citizenship copy, academic certificates, and a bio-data.
