Garima Capital Limited Seeks Assistant Chief Executive Officer (ACEO) to Drive Business Growth

Kathmandu, Nepal - Gari Tal Limited, a licensed Merchant Banker regulated by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), is currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Assistant Chief Executive Officer (ACEO). The company, located in Kamalpokhari, Ward-01, is known for its commitment to professionalism, excellence, and high ethical standards in the financial industry.

The ACEO will play a crucial role in identifying business growth opportunities and developing strategies to increase company sales. Responsibilities include analyzing underperforming products and services, gaining in-depth knowledge of the company's offerings, pricing, and improving sales proposals. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving revenue targets and overseeing overall business generation and retention.

The business areas covered by the company include Depository Participant (DP) Services, Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Issue Management Services, Corporate Advisory Services, Underwriting Services, Mutual Fund, and Registrar to Shares (RTS) Services.

To excel in this position, the ACEO must possess strong negotiation skills, make sound business decisions, and demonstrate excellent management, communication, and analytical abilities. Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and customers is also a vital aspect of the role.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Investment Banking unit, including Depository Participant (DP), Issue Management, Corporate Advisory, Underwriting, and RTS, as well as the Business Development unit encompassing Marketing, Sales, and Branding.
• Collaborate with the Board of Directors to devise growth strategies and business plans to achieve company goals.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and customers.
• Analyze customer feedback to ensure satisfaction with products and services.
• Recruit, train, and guide subordinates in the relevant business areas.
• Analyze financial data to develop strategies for cost reduction and increased profitability.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior management to pursue cost-effective approaches for new business ventures.
• Engage potential customers, present company offerings, and negotiate business deals.
• Implement metrics-driven approaches to sales incentives, performance management, rewards, and recognition.
• Explore new growth channels to enhance customer engagement, efficiency, and retention.

Qualifications and Experience:

• MBA or equivalent degree.
• Over 7 years of experience at or above officer level in Bank and Financial Institutions (BFIs).
• More than 3 years of experience in marketing or business development in any BFIs.
