Kathmandu - Nepal Investment Mega Bank, one of the leading banks in Nepal, has announced that its banking transactions will be temporarily suspended for a limited time. The bank has issued a notice stating that all transactions will be closed for a maximum of 30 minutes to 1 hour from 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, 24th Baisakh.
The temporary suspension of transactions is due to the bank's upgrade of its network security equipment. Nepal Investment Mega Bank has stated that the upgrade is necessary to ensure the safety and security of their customers' sensitive information.
The bank has urged its customers to plan their transactions accordingly and has advised them to avoid making any transactions during the scheduled downtime. The bank has also assured its customers that all their accounts and funds will remain safe and secure during the upgrade process.
