Sign Resunga Bank Issues New Notice to Protect Customers from Digital Fraud

In a bid to protect its customers from digital fraud, Sign Resunga Bank has issued a new notice urging customers to update their mobile numbers in their banking app. The bank has warned that failure to update the mobile number within 15 days from the date of publication could result in the closure of mobile banking services.

According to the notice, the bank has identified instances where the mobile number provided by customers at the time of opening their account and the mobile number registered in the mobile banking app are different. This discrepancy has been identified as a potential security risk and could be exploited by fraudsters to gain unauthorized access to customer accounts.

To prevent such incidents, Sign Resunga Bank has urged all customers to update their mobile numbers by submitting a request through the mobile app or email. The bank has assured customers that the process is simple and can be completed in a few easy steps.

In addition to the notice, the bank has also advised customers to be cautious while conducting digital transactions and to avoid sharing sensitive information such as account details, passwords, and PINs with anyone.

The notice has been welcomed by customers who have praised the bank for its proactive approach in tackling digital fraud. With the rise in online transactions and the growing sophistication of fraudsters, it is imperative for banks to take such measures to safeguard their customers' interests.
