The Central Bank of Nepal's Economic Research Department has announced that it is seeking suggestions on the issues currently faced by Laghubitta in Nepal. In a statement released on Friday, the department requested recommendations from the public on how to address the problems faced by Laghubitta Sanstha. The department has formed a committee under the leadership of the executive director of the department and the director of the National Bank's management committee to study the issues and provide solutions. The committee has already begun its work, and suggestions are expected to be sent to the National Bank's email by the end of Baisahk 20.

This move comes after recent protests by microfinance borrowers over the high interest rates charged by microfinance institutions and the perceived lack of government intervention in regulating these rates. The Central Bank has responded by forming a committee to study the issue and come up with recommendations for addressing the concerns of borrowers. With the call for suggestions now open to the public, it is hoped that a wider range of voices will be heard and that the resulting recommendations will be comprehensive and effective in addressing the problems faced by Laghubitta Sanstha and their customers in Nepal.
