Bikas Bank Limited has announced the merger of two of its branch offices, effective from Baisakh 21, 2083. According to the bank’s notice, the Harichowk Branch (099) located at Pokhara Metropolitan City-1 in Gandaki Province will be merged with the Bagar Branch (175), also located at Pokhara Metropolitan City-1. The two branches are approximately 500 meters apart. Similarly, the bank’s Arghaut Branch (039) in Tripurasundari Rural Municipality-2, Bagmati Province, will be merged with the Salyantar Branch (114) in the same local level, which is approximately 1.5 kilometers away.
The bank has requested customers who have been conducting banking transactions through the branches being merged to continue their banking activities from the respective acquiring branches after the merger. Muktinath Bikas Bank has also urged its customers, service users and other concerned stakeholders to take note of the branch changes and make the necessary arrangements to ensure uninterrupted banking services. The bank said the move is aimed at streamlining its branch network while continuing to provide convenient banking services to customers.
