Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited (RBBL) Announces New Interest Rates for Savings and Loans, effective from 1st Chaitra, 2079.

Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited (RBBL) has announced its latest interest rates for savings and loans, according to a notice released by the bank. Savings deposits and domestic deposits are subject to minimum interest rates ranging from 6% to 9%, while the minimum interest rate for foreign currency savings deposits is set between 1.5% to 4%.

The bank has also set interest rates for term deposits. Individuals can earn an interest rate of 11% for a minimum balance of Rs. 5,000 over a period of 3 months to 5 years, while institutional term deposits can earn an interest rate of 9% for a minimum balance of Rs. 5,000 over a period of 6 months to 5 years.

Regarding loans, RBBL has set premium rates ranging from 2% to 3.75% for annual interest rates and 2% to 4.50% for periodic loans. For natural persons, hire purchase loans to have a fixed interest rate of 15.25% for 5 years, while home loans and apartments have fixed interest rates of 14.25% for 5 years, 14.50% for 10 years, and 14.75% for 15 years.

The bank has also revealed the interest rates for fixed-interest institutional periodical loans. For a period of 5 to 10 years, the interest rate ranges from 14.25% to 15.25%, while for a period of more than 10 years, it ranges from 14.75% to 16.25%.
