वित्तीय साक्षरता सम्बन्धी कार्यक्रम गरी Global Money Week 2023 मनाउन राष्ट्र बैंकको निर्देशन

Nepal Rastra Bank has requested all banks and financial institutions in Nepal to conduct financial literacy programs as part of the Global Money Week (GMW) 2023, which will be celebrated from 20th to 26th March 2023. The initiative aims to raise awareness among people, especially children, and youth, about the importance of financial education and how it can help them make informed decisions about their financial lives. The event is part of a global effort to promote financial literacy among young people and will provide an opportunity for organizations to engage with children and youth and teach them about financial concepts such as saving, budgeting, and investing. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has also requested that the information on the program be provided to the Financial Literacy Unit under the Office of the Governor of the National Bank within 7 days of the completion of the program for evaluation. The central bank's move to encourage financial literacy programs is expected to have a positive impact on the country's economy by promoting financial responsibility and contributing to overall economic growth.
