Female Entrepreneurship Loan

- Minimum age 18 years. In case of a group proposal – minimum 5 individuals from similar caste/background to be more than 18 years.

- Brief proposal on the business plan.
Professional Agriculture & Livestock Loan
- Minimum Loan amount – NPR 50K
- Maximum Loan Amount – NPR 700K
- Minimum Tenor – 1 year
- Maximum Tenor – 3 years
- Minimum age ≥18 years
Other Criteria
- Loan can be given on Combined Guarantee.
- Brief proposal on the business plan.
Higher & Technical Education Loan
- Minimum Loan amount – NPR 50K
- Maximum Loan Amount – NPR 350K
- Minimum Tenor – 1 year
- Maximum Tenor – 3 years
- Minimum age ≥18 years for individuals
Other Criteria
- Completed primary education or equivalent and age not exceeding 25 years
- Studying or plan to study in any college/university in Nepal.
Foreign Returned Youth Loan
- Minimum Loan amount – NPR 50K
- Maximum Loan Amount – NPR 700K
- Minimum Tenure – 1 year
- Maximum Tenor – 3 years
- Minimum age ≥18 years for individuals
Other Criteria
- Project aligned to person skills to be considered as collateral
- Minimum 6 months foreign experience. Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder of the foreign country not eligible for the loan.
- Brief proposal on the business plan.
- Not to exceed 3 years from date of return to Nepal.
Educated Youth Self Employment Loan
- Minimum Loan amount – NPR 50K
- Maximum Loan Amount – NPR 500K
- Minimum Tenor – 1 year
- Maximum Tenor – 3 years
- Minimum age ≥18 years
Other Criteria
- Original Higher Education Certificates to be pledged with the Bank.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree holder and age not exceeding 40 years.
- Degree from foreign university to be listed in Nepalese university identified university list.
- Should have minimum 7 days’ training from identified Government skill development training institutions.
- Brief proposal on the business plan.
Construction Loan for Earthquake Affected Loan
- Minimum Loan amount – NPR 50K
- Maximum Loan Amount – NPR 200K
- Minimum Tenor – 1 year
- Maximum Tenor – 3 years
- Minimum age ≥18 years for individuals
Other Criteria
- Client Should not have received any other grant other than from the Government
- Should be identified by National Reconstruction Authority and loan to be taken within National Reconstruction Authority’s timeline
- Client should not have other living facility in self or family members name
Other Common Criteria
- Prospective individual can only avail one of these subsidised loan facilities
- Firms registration documentations where applicable
- Applicable Interest Rate is Current Base Rate + Premium of 2%
- Interest subsidy of 5 to 6% depending on Loan type as per directive by Nepal Rastra Bank.
- No additional fees charged
- Individual/combined guarantees as applicable
- Business Venture project to be appropriately insured. 25% premium to be borne by the client
- Bank will monitor the end use of the loan and the business venture
