Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited has invited proposals from interested landlords to provide buildings on rent for relocating four of its branch offices in different parts of the country.

According to a public notice issued by the bank, it is seeking suitable buildings with a floor area of approximately 900 to 1,400 square feet for its branches in Dhalkebar, Manahari, Bayari and Belauri.

The proposed locations are:

  • Dhalkebar: Mithila Municipality, Ward No. 6, Dhanusha, Madhesh Province.

  • Manahari: Manahari Rural Municipality, Ward No. 7, Makwanpur, Bagmati Province.

  • Bayari: Mayadevi Rural Municipality, Ward No. 6, Rupandehi, Lumbini Province.

  • Belauri: Belauri Municipality, Ward No. 4, Kanchanpur, Sudurpashchim Province.

Interested property owners have been requested to submit their proposals within 15 days from the date of publication of the notice.

The bank has specified several requirements for the proposed buildings. Applicants must submit details of the property, expected monthly rent, proof of ownership, building and land ownership documents, building maps, and citizenship certificates of the landlords.

The buildings must have road access and comply with the applicable standards of the concerned regulatory authorities. They should also be pillar-system structures, preferably with ground-floor or single-floor space, and offer parking facilities along with sufficient space for an ATM and generator.

The bank has further stated that the rented premises must be free from legal disputes and should be available for a minimum lease period of 10 years.

Property owners must also indicate whether they can provide additional facilities, including renovation, painting, false ceiling, bathroom and toilet construction, and tile or flooring works, either independently or with financial support from the bank.

The bank reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal, with or without assigning reasons. Proposals will be evaluated by the bank, and the final decision regarding property selection and rental arrangements will rest with the bank.
