Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited has appointed Sumed Bhattarai as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective November 1, 2026.
According to a notice issued by the bank, its board of directors made the decision at its 330th meeting held on October 13, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
Bhattarai's appointment will take effect from Kartik 15, 2083, according to the Nepali calendar.
Laxmi Sunrise Bank is a Class 'A' commercial bank licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, the country's central bank.
The appointment marks a leadership change at the bank, which operates in Nepal's banking and financial services sector.
