Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited, New Baneshwor Branch, has issued a 21-day public notice inviting sealed bids for the auction of movable and immovable assets pledged as loan collateral by borrowers who have failed to repay their outstanding dues.
The notice, published on October 12, 2026 (Ashoj 26, 2083), states that the borrowers have failed to settle principal, interest, penal interest and other charges despite repeated verbal and written reminders, as well as a previous 35-day notice published in the Aarthik Abhiyan national daily on December 17, 2023.
The bank has invited interested individuals and institutions to submit duly completed sealed bids using the prescribed forms within 21 days of the notice's publication. The received bids will be opened on the 22nd day at the location specified in the notice.
Machhapuchchhre Bank has warned that the concerned borrowers, proprietors, partners, directors and other relevant parties may be blacklisted as part of the loan recovery process. If the auction proceeds are insufficient to recover the outstanding liabilities, the bank may pursue further recovery actions in accordance with prevailing laws.
The bank has also urged the borrowers and concerned parties to contact the branch and settle their dues promptly to protect their pledged assets from auction.
