Development Bank Invites Sealed Bids for Sale of Non-Banking Assets

A development bank in Nepal has invited sealed bids for the sale of its non-banking assets, including registered land and buildings, through a seven-day public auction notice.

According to the notice published in the Rajdhani National Daily on Ashoj 24, 2083, the bank will sell the listed immovable properties under its ownership through a confidential sealed-bid process in accordance with the bank’s rules and prevailing laws.

Interested individuals, firms, companies and other legally recognized organizations can purchase the bid forms from any branch or regional office of the development bank. Completed bids must be submitted to the Loan Recovery Unit at the bank’s central office by the end of office hours on Ashoj 30, 2083. The deadline for submitting bids is October 16, 2026.

The bank has stated that the properties will be sold in their existing condition, exercising the authority granted under the Banks and Financial Institutions Act and other applicable laws. Interested bidders are required to complete the application forms properly and comply with all the terms and conditions specified in the bidding documents.

The seven-day notice provides an opportunity for potential buyers to participate in the auction of the bank’s non-banking assets. Interested parties are advised to obtain the official bid documents and review the applicable conditions before submitting their offers.
