Nabil Bank Limited has announced the relocation and consolidation of its Bhatbhateni and Maligaun branch offices in Kathmandu. According to the bank’s public notice, the branches will be relocated to the Bishalnagar branch office, with the changes scheduled to take effect from October 26, 2026.
The bank stated that the relocation notice was published in a national daily newspaper on Chaitra 18, 2082, providing at least 90 days’ advance notice to customers. Under the new arrangement, the Bhatbhateni branch, currently located approximately 650 meters from the receiving branch, and the Maligaun branch, located around 1.5 kilometers away, will have their operations transferred to the Bishalnagar branch.
The Bishalnagar branch is located at Ward No. 5, Bishalnagar, near the railway department in Kathmandu Metropolitan City. Following the relocation, customers of both branches will be able to access banking services from the Bishalnagar branch.
Nabil Bank has also requested customers who have belongings or other items stored in lockers at the affected branches to collect them from their respective existing branch offices by Ashwin 29, 2083, during regular office hours, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The bank stated that it will not be responsible for any damage or loss to items remaining in the lockers during the relocation process.
