Sanima Bank Limited has started distributing a 10% cash dividend, including taxes, to its shareholders for the fiscal year 2082/83. The bank’s 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on Ashoj 12, 2083, approved the proposal to distribute a cash dividend equivalent to 10% of the bank’s paid-up capital from the profit of the fiscal year 2082/83. Following the AGM decision, the bank began depositing and paying the cash dividend into the bank accounts linked to the respective shareholders’ demat accounts from the same date.
The bank has also announced that holders of 8.25% Sanima Non-Redeemable Non-Cumulative Preference Shares will receive a cash dividend at the rate of 8.25%, including taxes. Shareholders have been informed that any charges imposed by banks or financial institutions while depositing the dividend amount will have to be borne by the respective shareholders.
Sanima Bank has further requested shareholders whose bank accounts were changed following the merger of banks and financial institutions to update their new bank account details in their demat accounts as soon as possible. Dividend amounts returned by banks or financial institutions due to changes in account numbers will be paid only after the updated account details are provided.
For shareholders who have pledged their shares to obtain loan facilities, additional documentation is required. Shareholders who had pledged shares and obtained loans up to Bhadra 31, 2083, one day before the book closure date of Ashoj 1, 2083, must submit a No Objection Letter (NOC) from the concerned bank or financial institution specifying the number of pledged shares. Those who repaid their loans after the specified date must submit an original letter requesting the release of the cash dividend to Sanima Capital Limited. The dividend will then be deposited into the bank account linked to the shareholder’s demat account.
