25,000 Promoter Shares Put on Sale, Existing Shareholders Given 35 Days to Apply

Nabil Bank has announced the sale of 25,000 promoter shares held by one of its existing promoter shareholders.

According to the notice, the shareholder submitted an application expressing an intention to sell all 25,000 shares in a single transaction. The bank’s Board of Directors has reviewed the application and decided to proceed with the share sale and purchase process in accordance with the applicable regulations.

Under Nepal Rastra Bank’s Unified Directive, E. Pra. Directive No. 10/082, existing promoter shareholders must be given priority to purchase promoter shares.

Accordingly, eligible and interested existing promoter shareholders have been asked to submit their applications within 35 days from the date of publication of the notice.

Applicants are required to submit a confidential, sealed application to the Company Secretary’s Office at the bank’s central office in Tindhara, Biramarg, Durbarmarg, Kathmandu. The application must also mention the publication date of the notice and the name of the newspaper in which it was published.

If no application is received from existing promoter shareholders within the stipulated 35-day period, the bank will proceed with the sale of the shares to other individuals or institutions in accordance with prevailing laws and regulatory provisions.
