Everest Bank Opens Applications for Two Managerial-Level Positions

Everest Bank Limited has invited applications from qualified, energetic and self-motivated Nepali citizens for two managerial-level positions in Hydro Project/Project Finance and Digital Banking and Cards.

For the Managerial Level - Hydro Project/Project Finance Analysts position, applicants must hold a master’s degree in Management, Business or Economics, including M.Com, MBA, MBS or MA Economics, with at least first-division marks or a minimum 3.30 CGPA out of 4. Qualified Chartered Accountants or candidates with an equivalent degree from a recognized university are also eligible.

Candidates must have at least eight years of banking or professional experience in BFIs, including exposure to hydropower projects or project financing, with a minimum of three years of managerial-level experience. Applicants must be at least 30 years old as of the application deadline.

The role involves assessing project bankability and financial viability, evaluating financing structures for hydropower, renewable energy and infrastructure projects, project risk management, credit appraisal, financial closure, project monitoring and implementation oversight. The position also requires knowledge of relevant contracts and legal matters, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with project sponsors, developers, lenders and other stakeholders.

For the Managerial Level - Digital Banking and Cards Department position, applicants must have a master’s degree in Management, Business, Economics or Computer Application, with at least first-division marks or 3.30 CGPA out of 4. Qualified Chartered Accountants or candidates with an equivalent degree from a recognized university are also eligible.

Applicants for this position must have a minimum of eight years of banking or professional experience in BFIs or fintech companies, with relevant exposure to digital banking, cards or fintech, including at least three years of managerial-level experience. The minimum age requirement is 30 years as of the application deadline.

The Digital Banking and Cards role covers digital banking and product development, mobile and internet banking, debit, credit and prepaid card businesses, digital payments, fintech integration, customer experience, merchant acquiring, digital risk, fraud monitoring and cybersecurity. The position also requires knowledge of emerging technologies, including potential applications of artificial intelligence, machine learning and automation.

Everest Bank stated that only shortlisted candidates with strong educational backgrounds and relevant professional experience will be called for interviews on a merit basis. The bank reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning a reason.
