Siddhartha Capital Opens Vacancy for Corporate Advisory Head

Siddhartha Capital Limited (SCL), a subsidiary of Siddhartha Bank Limited and Nepal’s first mutual fund management company licensed under the Mutual Fund Regulations, 2010, has announced a vacancy for the position of Corporate Advisory Head.

The company is seeking one qualified candidate for the position, which is based in Kathmandu. SCL is looking for result-oriented professionals with a strong interest and experience in investment banking and corporate advisory.

The selected candidate will lead and expand SCL’s Corporate Advisory practice and provide strategic financial advisory services to clients across multiple sectors. The role will involve transactions and assignments related to mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, project finance, debt advisory, restructuring, corporate finance, valuation and strategic advisory.

The Corporate Advisory Head will be responsible for developing the business strategy and growth roadmap of the advisory unit, driving sustainable growth and profitability, and leading major client transactions.

The position will also involve developing new advisory mandates and maintaining relationships with promoters, corporates, financial institutions, investors, regulators and other stakeholders. The selected candidate will prepare and present business proposals, pitches and responses to requests for proposals.

In addition, the role requires coordination with regulatory bodies including SEBON, NEPSE, CDS and Clearing, the Office of the Company Registrar and Nepal Rastra Bank, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

Qualification and Experience

Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA-Finance), Economics or Accounting. Professional qualifications such as CA or CFA will be considered an advantage.

Applicants are required to have 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in investment banking, merchant banking, corporate advisory, commercial banking, private equity or corporate finance, including at least five years in a leadership or deal-lead capacity.

Siddhartha Capital said the position offers an opportunity to work in investment management and gain exposure to equity, fixed income, corporate advisory and portfolio management, while working with professionals in Nepal’s capital market.
