Nepal Rastra Bank Introduces New Series Rs. 1,000 Banknote with Enhanced Security Features

Nepal Rastra Bank has introduced a new Series 2025 Rs. 1,000 banknote featuring a light green design within a purple border.

The updated note retains the standard size of previous currency while incorporating enhanced security elements, including advanced watermarks, tactile markings for the visually impaired a color-shifting security thread and depictions of Mount Everest, Chitwan elephants, and regional symbols.
