Kathmandu: Prime Commercial Bank Limited has announced vacancies for multiple positions, inviting applications from qualified, dynamic and result-oriented Nepali citizens. The bank is seeking candidates for Legal Officer, Chartered Accountant, Gold Loan In-Charge and Gold Tester positions for its branches inside and outside Kathmandu Valley.
The vacancies are open for candidates with relevant academic qualifications and professional experience. Applicants with strong interpersonal skills, a pleasant personality, computer literacy and proficiency in both Nepali and English will be preferred.
1. Legal Officer
Candidates applying for the Legal Officer position must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, with Commercial Law as the core subject, from a recognized university.
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of relevant and progressive experience as a practicing lawyer with an advocate license. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in financial institutions or reputed law firms, particularly in banking, company and corporate law.
The selected candidate should be capable of representing the bank in court and providing technical and administrative support on legal matters.
2. Chartered Accountant
Candidates must have completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) and possess sound knowledge of Nepal Rastra Bank directives, BAFIA, Company Act 2063, Income Tax Act 2058, NAS/IAS/NFRS, AML Guidelines, AMS, RBIA and other relevant banking laws, regulations and guidelines.
Relevant post-qualification work experience will be preferred.
Candidates without prior work experience after completing CA must not have crossed 30 years of age as of September 27, 2026.
3. Gold Loan In-Charge (Contract)
Applicants must have at least three years of relevant and progressive work experience as a Gold Tester or Gold Loan In-Charge, preferably in a financial institution.
Candidates should have practical experience in gold loan operations and marketing, along with technical expertise in testing and verifying the purity and authenticity of gold and other precious metals.
4. Gold Tester (Contract, Technical Staff)
Candidates must have at least two years of relevant work experience, preferably as a goldsmith or technical staff at a certified gold jewelry shop.
Applicants should have hands-on technical knowledge and experience in testing and verifying the purity and authenticity of gold and other precious metals.
Candidates with fluency in both spoken and written Nepali and English, computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications will be given preference.
Applicants are required to submit an updated CV with the names of two references, application letter mentioning the position applied for in the subject line, a copy of citizenship certificate, recent passport-size photograph and copies of academic certificates.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further selection processes in accordance with the bank's rules. The bank has reserved the right to reject any application without assigning a reason.
The vacancies are available for branches both inside and outside Kathmandu Valley.
