Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited (NIMB) has officially published its updated schedule of interest rates for deposits and loans, coming into effect from 17th September 2026 (1st Ashwin 2083). According to the notice, individual fixed deposit rates range from 2.90% (for 3 months to below 1 year) up to 4.50% (for tenures above 5 years). Remittance fixed deposits offer higher tiered returns starting at 3.90% and peaking at 5.50% for terms above 5 years. Meanwhile, institutional deposits range from 2.75% to 3.50%, and NPR recurring fixed deposits are set at 3.50% for 13 months and 4.00% for 25 months.
