NMB Bank has officially published its updated interest rate structure for local currency (LCY) deposit products. According to the financial notice, the vast majority of the bank's saving deposit accounts—including standard payroll accounts, student accounts, women-focused schemes, and general savings—offer an annual interest rate of 2.75%.
Additionally, specialized accounts like the NMB Janmabhumi Bachat Khata (designed for remittance) provide a higher return of 3.75% per annum. Meanwhile, call deposits in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) are structured to offer interest rates of up to 1.375%.
