Nabil Bank Limited has announced a vacancy for the position of Agricultural Consultant. The Bank is seeking qualified, motivated, and experienced Nepali citizens to provide technical expertise in agriculture lending, loan assessment, portfolio monitoring, market development, and capacity building.

Conduct market studies to identify agriculture lending opportunities across Nepal.
Support the development of agriculture lending products.
Prepare policies, guidelines, and frameworks for agriculture lending.
Develop training manuals for agriculture lending products and services.
Train Bank staff on agriculture lending products, working capital assessment, income and expense analysis, risk mitigation, sales techniques, soft skills, and related areas.
Provide training to existing and potential customers to support market development.
Strong knowledge of agriculture, agribusiness, crop production, livestock, value chains, market linkages, and agriculture lending practices.
Ability to conduct market studies and assess lending opportunities and market potential.
Capability to develop agriculture lending products, policies, guidelines, and frameworks.
Strong training, facilitation, communication, presentation, relationship-building, and report-writing skills.
Willingness to travel to field locations when required.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries/Aquaculture, Agribusiness, or a related field, along with at least 1–2 years of relevant experience in agricultural development.
Candidates must be proficient in written and spoken Nepali and English and possess a professional personality, strong communication skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
Remuneration: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
