Nepal Rastra Bank Issues Payment Transaction Guidelines for Flood-Affected Relief Funds

Nepal Rastra Bank has directed payment service providers and licensed institutions to facilitate transactions through mobile banking, web applications and e-money channels for the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund and Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. The central bank has also clarified that the prescribed transaction limits will not apply to deposits and payments made to these designated relief fund accounts.
