IGI Prudential Insurance company has invited sealed bids for the sale of two vehicles in their existing condition through a 15-day tender process. According to the notice published for the first time on Bhadra 8, 2083, interested individuals, firms and institutions can submit sealed bids for the vehicles, which can be inspected during office hours at the company’s central office in Panipokhari, Kathmandu.
The vehicles available for sale include a 2016 Renault Duster (RXZ AWD) with a 1,491 cc engine and a minimum valuation of Rs. 1.8 million, and a 2019 Maruti Suzuki EECO 5-Seater with a 1,196 cc engine and a minimum valuation of Rs. 1.55 million.
The deadline for submitting sealed bids is Bhadra 22, 2083, by 5:00 PM. Tender forms can be obtained from the company for a non-refundable fee of Rs. 100. Bidders must quote their offered price and deposit 10% of the bid amount as security in the company’s account at Sanima Bank, enclosing the deposit voucher with the sealed bid.
The bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly mentioning the notice number, bidder’s name, address and telephone number. Conditional bids will not be accepted, and the bid amount must be stated clearly in both figures and words. The sealed bids will be opened at 2:00 PM on the 16th day at the company’s central office in Panipokhari, Kathmandu, in the presence of bidders or their representatives. The bids may be opened even in the absence of bidders or their representatives.
The company reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Successful bidders must pay the quoted amount along with 13% VAT and take possession of the vehicle within 15 days of bid approval. If the successful bidder fails to take possession within the specified period, the security deposit will be forfeited and the company may proceed with the next highest bidder.
