Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Announces Auction of Three Motorcycles Through Sealed Bids

Kathmandu: Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited has announced the auction sale of three two-wheeler vehicles through a confidential sealed-bid process. According to the notice published on 2083/04/26, interested individuals, firms, companies and institutions can submit sealed bids to purchase the motorcycles in their existing condition within 15 days from the date of publication of the notice.

The motorcycles listed for auction include a Honda Shine 125 CC located at the bank's Butwal Branch, manufactured in 2013, with registration number Lu 17 Pa 9444; a Honda Shine SP 125 CC located at the Rajbiraj Branch, manufactured in 2019, with registration number Sa 11 Pa 3562; and another Honda Shine 125 CC located at the Butwal Branch, manufactured in 2015, with registration number Lu 21 Pa 6425.

Interested bidders can obtain a separate bid form for each vehicle by paying NPR 500 per form from the bank's Central Office at Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu-30, or from a convenient branch office. The bid-form fee is non-refundable. Completed and signed bid forms must be properly sealed and submitted to the bank's Central Office within the specified deadline during office hours. Bids received after the deadline, incomplete bids, or bids submitted with conditions will not be considered.

Bidders must submit a security deposit equivalent to at least 10% of their quoted bid amount along with their application. The security deposit must be supported by the original cash deposit voucher or a Good for Payment A/C Payee cheque issued in favor of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank. No interest will be paid on the deposited amount, and the security deposit will not be refunded until the bank makes a final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of the bids.

The sealed bids will be opened at 3:30 PM on the next working day after the bid submission deadline at the bank's Central Office in Gyaneshwor, in the presence of the bidders or their representatives and representatives of the concerned government office. The bids may be opened even if bidders or their representatives are not present. If the auction process cannot be completed on the scheduled day or the day falls on a public holiday, the process will be conducted on the next working day.

The bank has reserved the full authority to decide whether to sell or not sell the vehicles and whether to accept or reject the quoted bids. All government taxes, ownership-transfer fees and other expenses related to the transfer of the motorcycles will be borne by the successful bidders. Interested parties can obtain further information about the vehicles by contacting the bank's Central Office or the respective branch offices during office hours. Other terms and conditions will be as specified in the bid form.
