KSBBL Board Proposes 15% Cash Dividend for FY 2082-83

Kathmandu — The Board of Directors of KSBBL (Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited) has approved a proposal to distribute a 15 percent cash dividend to ordinary shareholders for the fiscal year 2082-83, pending final approval from the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB).

The decision was made at the bank's 419th board meeting, held on Friday, Shrawan 22, 2082 (corresponding to the fiscal year 2082-83), at 4:00 PM. During the meeting, the board reviewed and endorsed the bank's profit and loss account and cash flow statement for the fiscal year, along with related financial statements.

According to the disclosure, the bank's current paid-up capital stands at Rs. 4,21,19,30,514.94. Of this, preference share capital amounting to Rs. 35,00,00,000 will receive a 9 percent dividend (on a pro-rata basis up to the end of Ashar 2083), amounting to approximately Rs. 1,40,67,123.29.

Ordinary share capital, amounting to Rs. 3,86,19,30,514.94, has been proposed for a 15 percent cash dividend (inclusive of applicable tax), which comes to approximately Rs. 57,92,89,622.24.

The board's proposal, along with the accompanying financial statements, will now be forwarded to Nepal Rastra Bank for final approval. Any modifications, suggestions, or directives issued by the central bank will be incorporated before the proposal is presented to the bank's upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) for shareholder approval.
