Machhapuchchhre Bank Merges Eight Branches Across Nepal

Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited has announced the merger of eight of its branch offices across Bagmati, Gandaki, and Madhesh provinces as part of its branch network optimization. According to the bank's notice, the branch adjustments came into effect from August 3, 2026 (Shrawan 18, 2083). The affected branches include Hakim Chowk (merged into Narayangarh), Balaju (Gongabu), Khusibu (Dallu), Kalanki (Swayambhu), Koteshwor (New Baneshwor), Thamel (Durbar Marg), Lamachaur (Bagar), and Birgunj Link Road (Adarshanagar). The bank has informed customers that they can continue to access all banking services from the respective operating branches without any disruption.
